Everybody wants a beautiful bright smile right? However, getting your teeth professionally whitened can be quite costly. The good news is that there are several ways you can naturally whiten your teeth without having to pay all those expensive fees.

Here are 5 natural ways you can brighten your teeth.

1- Baking Soda and Hydrogen Peroxide paste.

-Mix together 1 teaspoon of baking soda with 1 teaspoon of Hydrogen Peroxide until it forms a paste.

-Use the paste to gently brush your teeth, as you would with normal toothpaste.

-Then, rinse your mouth out with water and proceed to brush your teeth with regular toothpaste.

This method should only be used a few times a week in order to get the best results and leave your teeth looking whiter and your gums feeling cleaner.

2- Strawberry and Salt teeth scrub

-Mash 1-2 large strawberries into a paste and add a pinch of salt to it.

-Dip your toothbrush into the paste and apply a generous amount onto your teeth.

-Let the mixture sit on your teeth for 5 minutes, then thoroughly rinse your mouth out with water.

-Next, brush your teeth as you normally would.

You can do this nightly.

3- Activated Charcoal

-Purchase some activated charcoal which can be found in most drug and natural health stores.

-Dip an unused, wet toothbrush into the charcoal and get a good amount onto the toothbrush as you will need to cover all your teeth.

-Gently rub the charcoal onto your teeth for two minutes making sure you cover them all.

-Next, spit out the charcoal. This may prove a little difficult but don’t worry. Accumulate as much saliva as possible in your mouth and proceed to spit the charcoal out.

-Thoroughly rinse your mouth with water and be sure to swish it around to remove all the charcoal. You may have to repeat this process a couple of times until all the charcoal has been washed away.

Proceed to brush your teeth normally with toothpaste which will remove any remaining charcoal residue and also freshen your breath.

4- Oil Pulling

-Pour teaspoon full of coconut oil into your mouth but do not swallow it.

-Proceed to swish the oil around your mouth for about 10-15 minutes. This method is known as oil pulling.

-Spit out the oil and rinse your mouth with water, then brush your teeth.

With repeated use, this technique leaves your teeth smooth and shiny and free of plaque.

5- Lemon Juice and Baking Soda mix

-Mix a teaspoon or two of baking soda with enough freshly squeezed lemon juice to form a paste.

-Apply the paste onto your teeth and leave for 1 minute then rinse it out and brush your teeth.

Use this method a few times a week for the best results.
