Dressing properly is extremely important. It gives an impression about our personality. Because of the different kinds of trends and with so many different kinds of dresses available, young people often get confused about what to wear.

They end up buying the wrong dress and unnecessarily spend a lot of money. Below are some tips for young men to dress properly:

1. DRESS AS PER THE SEASON AND THE ENVIRONMENT

Dressing depends on what season you are in and where you live. In spring go for khaki, pastels. In summer wear something light and bring out all the colorful dresses from your wardrobe. Shorts are very comfortable during summer. When the color of the leaves changes in autumn, your dress should reflect browns, oranges and reds. Winter is the time to show off all the blazers and the jackets that you have. And do not neglect your head during winter. Always wear a hat or just go for a hooded jacket, which serves both the purpose.

2. KEEP IT SIMPLE

Many young men, when they decide to dress well, go out and buy all the expensive, fancy stuff. That is not a good way to start. You’ll end up with a bunch of high fashion stuff that won’t look good on you. Always try to keep it simple. Don’t try to look like a rock star unless you are in a band. If you want to be flashy, go for a black shirt,a white blazer and a dark pair of pants..Take clues from the environment. Your job is to upgrade to a slightly higher standard of dress than the ones you are currently wearing. Wear a stylish watch and a good pair of shoes to complete your dress. Avoid buying any clothes which you have never seen before. And don’t make the mistake of mixing formal dresses with informal ones.

3. DO NOT RUN AFTER BRAND NAMES

Everyone loves to wear branded clothes. They are expensive and gives you the ‘rich’ tag. However, do not buy clothes just for the brand name. Before you buy a cloth, ask yourself if you are simply buying it for the brand name or you like the quality or design. Ask yourself ,” Would I buy it if there was no logo?”. If the answer is no, then avoid it. If you buy just for the sake of brand name, then you will end up spending a lot of money unnecessarily.
