What will happen if someone ruins the economy?

The economy is something that affects all of us, and if someone was to ruin it, the consequences would be devastating. The global financial markets would crash, leading to massive job losses, a decrease in wages and a decrease in consumer spending. This would cause businesses to close and a severe recession to set in. Governments would be forced to take drastic measures, such as implementing austerity measures and raising taxes, in order to stave off the economic disaster. In the end, it would take years of hard work and determination to rebuild the economy, and the effects would be felt for generations to come.
